STRIKING AND COHERENT VISUAL IDENTITY FOR A THEATRE

The project for Espai (Maragall) theatre's graphic identity required a unique visual identity that would unify all its posters while maintaining individuality in each. We were tasked with creating the poster and applications for the play "Adiós Marta" and two posters for other plays as a proof of concept.
In developing the visual identity for the Espai (Maragall) theater posters, the following concept was developed, we are all the same, all that differentiates us are our own personal experiences that shape us, experiences such as theatre. To visually articulate this concept, advanced 3D rendering tools in Illustrator were employed, achieving a striking embossed effect akin to a stamp pressed upon plastic, symbolizing the indelible mark of individual experiences.
For the typographic element, we chose the bold and assertive PR Rader Bold font for the poster titles, which claims a significant third of the layout, ensuring instant noticeability and readability. Each poster features a distinctive vector design tailored to the play's theme, ensuring a unique identity while contributing to a cohesive series. A carefully curated pastel blue shade harmonizes the diversity of the series, promoting visual unity without compromising the distinct character of each piece.
